WILDERNESS EDUCATION CENTER

Sunnyside Wilderness Education Center is located in SE Alaska's pristine Lisianski Inlet, two miles from the West Chichagof – Yakobi Wilderness and only 15 miles from Glacier Bay National Park. This is the best "jumping off" place for experiencing the most remote, pristine and beautiful part of SE Alaska. But, it isn't easy to get here. Of course, that is exactly why it is still pristine and beautiful. Native-American owned and operated, we offer you the opportunity to experience Alaska from an indigenous perspective.
